After emerging on the gospel scene with hits like Battlefield, Press Towards the Mark and Jesus I Love You, Hutchins’ musical prowess is on another level as the producer, writer and vocalist on his debut label Impact Records. His praise and worship cd / dvd series is appropriately entitled “Spontaneous Praise Live Volume One featuring Norman Hutchins.” The multi- Stellar, Dove and Grammy Award nominee Hutchins leads a re-emergence of choir music to the forefront reuniting choirs and congregations to sing praises horizontally while still worshipping vertically.

The ambience was captured live at the Pentecostals of Dover Church before a capacity crowd of worshippers with guest appearances by the godfather of gospel Timothy Wright and the incomparable Daryl Coley. Returning to his roots, Hutchins delivered praise-songs like the “Back to the Heart” medley and “Your Love is Amazing.” The evening was then moved to a spiritual high when the Spontaneous Praise Choir mesmerized the audience with the high octane “There’s No God Like Our God” and “ Hold on Be Strong”. Yet, within each Norman Hutchins recording, you will find a hidden traditional treasure. “It’s Your Season To Be Blessed” is the one that follows that tradition.
