Donald Ashley, was born and raised a native of Dover, Delaware whom by the age of 5 yrs old would begin to sing at his father’s (Bishop James Ashley, Sr.) church. Being raised a PK, with (3) other siblings, they would all sing before their father would preach. Donald and his brothers, as they were later called “The Ashley Brothers” began to gain notoriety of the surrounding events and gospel concerts and this would start a momentum for the brethren.
